Stumbled accross this High school last October in New Orleans. It was basically completely abandoned and intact. Here are a couple from the Auditorium.. it was a little eerie
I've spent a many of days in this auditorium. I am a graduate of Alfred Lawless Sr. High. It's a shame that it was neglected when it wasn't in bad shape. It was the second youngest school in New Orleans and they decided to demolish it. I don't understand why and probably never will
I preformed several times on that very stage!!! In cristmas shows, plays or just because!!1 You know it hurts really bad to see your memories washed and knocked done the drain... I as well have spent countless hours in thru the halls and to know you can never walk those breeze ways again.. I wish i could have it all back again
I photograph environments... the built ones and the natural ones. I'm pretty sure they play a bigger part in our lives and happiness than we realize. The intent of my work is simple... to connect people with places.. to show that its all connected. I'm fascinated with this concept and how the world fits together and I think we all need to explore, respect and embrace it more.
